Happiness Is The Journey

Happiness does not come to me naturally, I have to pursue it and seek it out in ordinary things. My life became much easier when I decided to start being honest and authentic about it. That is what you will find here; my thoughts on simplifying my life and home, dealing with clinical depression and anxiety, my ongoing weight-loss/self-acceptance journey and the pursuit of balance and happiness.

About Amy

I am twenty-eight years old. I moved my family back to my homeland of Australia in May 2012 after eight years in Canada in my husband Matt’s hometown. Matt is currently a stay-at-home-Dad to our daughters Desana, 4, and Freya, 2, while I work full time. I’ve known since I was nine years old that I wanted to be a writer; it just took me awhile to figure it out. Writing is currently a hobby, however I would love for it to be much more than that.
